The focal point of The C.D. Group is to be a resource to the corporate and legal community in Criminal and/or Civil matters. This is achieved but not limited to analysis of disclosure in criminal matters; negotiation of settlements in civil matters; preparation of criminal briefs; initiation of criminal proceedings; coordinating the surveillance of individuals in criminal and/or civil proceedings; interviewing of witnesses; advisor to Counsel and their clients on police related matters.

The C.D. Group is also a resource to corporations and individuals  in the private sector that wish to pursue their own investigations Nationally or Internationally with the intention of assisting police agencies in various jurisdictions / Countries in pursuing matters of interest to them, recognizing the dwindling resources of these agencies.

The C.D. Group  also provides specialized training and education to Organizations and their personnel i.e.  Corporate Security , Law Enforcement Training.  Programs are designed specifically for the Organization and incorporate such topic areas as Report Writing; Federal / Provincial Statutes; Tactical communication; Canadian Human Rights; Critical Incident Management; Use of Force. Other topics such as Concepts of Interviewing can be taught to Law Enforcement Personnel as well to Department Heads or Managers of Corporations responsible for Harassment investigations.
